This one is a build we are proud to be a part of. A poolside covered structure in Wylie, TX - starting from demo, moving through the steel framing and welding phase, and now with the metal roof panels going on. It is the kind of job that takes real coordination and a crew that knows what they are doing.

The steel frame on this structure is not lightweight work. Every beam connection gets welded by hand, up on a ladder, overhead. That is not something you can rush. The welds have to be solid because this roof is going to be sitting above a pool deck for years, taking on Texas heat, wind, and the occasional storm. We take that seriously.

What makes a build like this come together well is the sequencing. Demo first. Then the frame goes up piece by piece - measured, set, and welded at each joint before the next section moves forward. Once the skeleton is right, the metal panels can go on clean. Skip steps and it shows. Do it right and the whole structure feels built to last.

Covered outdoor spaces next to a pool are one of the most-requested upgrades we see - and for good reason. Shade changes how usable a pool deck actually is, especially in the middle of a Texas summer. A properly built metal roof holds up where wood eventually won't, and it keeps its shape without the ongoing maintenance headaches.

This job is still in progress and it is already clear how much of a difference it is going to make for the space. From the welding up close to the full frame taking shape over that pool deck - it is coming together exactly the way it should.
